Juneteenth Celebration Fishing Derby Information
Fishing Derby - The fishing derby
will take place on Saturday June 16th at the pond at
William Land Park from 12 –6pm (S. Land Park Dr. & 15th
Ave). The Juneteenth Festival has partnered with the
Department of Fish and Game’s -Fishing in the City
program to host this year’s derby.
Sponsored by the City of Sacramento’s
“Fishing in the City” Program. The Parks & Recreation
department will stock the pond at WLP with live catfish
and teach youth how to fish.- poles and the bait will be
provided.
